Full Time, 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday)



Our client is a value-orientated Housing Association working together to create communities where people want to live. They manage circa 5,500 homes over a wide geographical area and their residents include families, older people and those in need of special care and support.  


They are looking for an enthusiastic and talented finance professional to join their team.  Reporting to the Assistant Director of Finance and leading a team of 3-4, the successful applicant will be a part of the finance leadership team and will have the autonomy to improve procedures as required to deliver a high-quality service. With responsibility for management accounts, KPI’s, payroll and insurance, the role plays a vital part in key financial processes including budgeting and forecasting, management information reporting and year end accounting.  


There is an opportunity to work closely with senior colleagues in other departments to help drive continuous improvements and to be involved in projects supporting strategic decisions within the Association.


Applicants should hold a professional finance qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA. The applicant must have previous experience of management accounts, budgeting, running month end and reporting results on a timely basis. In addition, it would be preferable if the individual has previous experience of managing a team. The applicant must have an advanced understanding of financial management and financial accounting principles and the ability to take initiative to play a key role in strategic projects and improvements across the Association.
