Graphic Designer required to join our clients in house graphic design team where you will be using your creativity and attention to detail to collaborate with editorial staff to ensure that designs are free from mistakes and user friendly. As Graphic Designer you will support their in-house educators in developing templates for teaching materials, using your problem-solving skills to take their ideas and find ways to make them work in practice whilst working to deadlines and therefore must be able to manage your time efficiently and effectively. In your role as Graphic Designer you will also be adaptable and able to respond positively to feedback in order to develop and improve resources from conception through to publication on the website.

The Role

* Reporting to Head of Design Studio

* Working alongside other members of the design team with an exciting and ever-growing portfolio of print and digital products spanning markets from fine cuisine to global enterprise.

* Collaborate with editorial staff to ensure that designs are free from mistakes and user friendly

* Support & develop templates for teaching materials

* Work to weekly deadlines

* Designing a variety of in-house products as well as for external resources within the teaching, child's books and for clue chip companies

The Person

* Degree or HND in graphic design

* Experience of working in a similar busy and deadline driven environment

* Strong creativity skills

* Excellent attention to detail

* High level of understanding of the printing process and specifications (from design to print-ready artwork)

* Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite - excellent design packages skills including InDesign (key), Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat

* Proven track record of successfully developing and executing design across various print formats

* Strong portfolio demonstrating a passion for design and skill in visual communication
