I am currently looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join my client based in Bristol. The client is particularly interested in candidates with heaving engineering/Nuclear Engineering/Fabrication experience covering heavy industry projects (nuclear, petrochemical, power).
The preference would be for a Procurement Coordinator with engineering for manufacturing/fabrication experience on large scale design and build projects covering both office and follow up site based fabrication, construction.
The client is working on nuclear sector related projects, they have design and build projects for various UK and International projects. The projects will focus on larger scale steel structures, pressure vessels and tanks.
SALARY: GBP30,000 - GBP40,000 per annum
Procurement Coordinator - Consultant:
3-5+ years' experience covering procurement, contract administration and management
Procurement, purchasing and materials control experience
Contract management (supplier and sub-contractor management and liaison)
Heavy Engineering projects experience
Mechanical, Process and Structural Metal Package works/experience
Internal and external stakeholder management
Project administration or document control experience is very beneficial
Beneficial Skills, not essential
Contracts negotiations, NEC or FIDIC form contracts most applicable
Experience with large scale fabrication projects (Nuclear, Oil & Gas, Heavy Industry)
Welding/Fabrication/Manufacturing projects experience
Any nuclear experience or similar is very applicable
The client requires procurement coordinator who can work with the existing team, supporting the production of specifications for purchasing, set up purchase orders, assist project management, follow up with fabricated component suppliers, contracts administration and quality control.
The role is working on one of the largest infrastructure projects on the plant and they are anticipating work up until 2024 in the first instance.
