A rare opportunity to work for a globally recognised brand within the Leisure and Sport in an exciting and varied role as a Temporary Finance Analyst. Working on a project to develop new internal procedures and implement new strategies within Intercompany accounting.
Client Details
The client is one of the best recognised brands within the country and has a strong global presence, being very highly commended within the Leisure and Sport sector. They are very commercially focused and allow for great internal development opportunities in a varied and exciting roles. This will be an exciting project heading in to the Christmas period focusing on Intercompany Reconciliations and implementing new internal processes. Although this Temporary Finance Analyst role is an initial contract, there will be opportunity to progress with possibility of contract extensions. Located in Luton, they are an easy commute for anyone located in Milton Keynes, Bedford, or North West London with easy access to the M1.
Description
The key responsibilities of the Temporary Finance Analyst role will be as follows:
Working on a project that will focus on Intercompany Reconciliations
Be a point of contact for the Intercompany Reconciliation project, resolving queries
Reconciling for a large account within the group
Ensuring the reliable and timely bank and control account reconciliations
Stakeholder management and effective communication across teams
Review all completed reconciliations within the Fixed Assets teams
Working alongside line manager to drive continuous improvement
Implementing new processes to resolve recurring issues and preventing backlog
Profile
The successful candidate for the Temporary Finance Analyst role will:
Be immediately available or have a similarly short notice period (1 week)
Have previous experience in a reconciliations and intercompany focussed role
Be part qualified (ACCA,CIMA,ACA) or AAT Qualified
Ability to work alongside multiple teams
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Ability to communicate effective and be a point of contact
Excellent organisation and ability to work to tight deadlines
An awareness of the implementation of new technology within the sector
Well developed customer skills and experience of working in a fast paced environment
