29.5 hours per week, temporary to cover a period of maternity leave.

The Marketing, Communications and PR team is at the forefront of attracting potential students to apply to Barnsley College and Barnsley Sixth Form College. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Manager to drive forward marketing and communication strategies and lead a team.

Excellent organisational and time management skills are essential, as you will be leading a busy team on multiple projects including planning and running events, devising and implementing marketing strategies, campaigns and creating publications across two brands. You will manage internal and external communications, including PR and media relations, digital activity and stakeholder engagement.

You will be a confident communicator and leader with excellent copywriting and IT skills and will want to develop your career in an exciting, diverse and fast-paced educational environment.

To be considered for this post you will have a degree/Level 4 qualification or equivalent in a subject area relevant to marketing, PR or event activity and a minimum of three years' relevant experience, including line management responsibility.
