JOB TITLE: Re - Work Operative
Hours of Work:
Continental 12 Hour (42 Hr Week)
Job Purpose:
To support the production function by reworking products as required including off line venting, cut downs & returns. The role also requires that factory breaks are covered and the wider warehouse team are supported where necessary
Key Accountabilities:
* Ensure all allocated cut down requests are completed by the date requested. Ensure quality and accurate work is achieved throughout. Ensuring stock is moved to correct locations on the system as you go.
* Ensure you provide support regarding any Embossing/Venting requests, completing by the requested date.
* Highlight any Health & Safety issues to the supervisor immediately. It is your responsibility to ensure you perform all your tasks in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with the company Health & Safety rules and working practices
* When locating product into the racking/Bulk stack facility ensure that you locate the stillage correctly, highlighting any damage/issues immediately to the Supervisor
* Ensure all documentation is completed correctly, giving accurate information at all times
* Attend a daily pre shift briefing with the supervisor when required, paying attention to all information given
* You will be required to attend warehouse stock takes
* You will be required to carry out any reasonable request asked of you, by your Supervisor/Shift Co-ordinator at all times
* Support the factory by working on line during break times
* Support in any other Warehouse or production functions when requested to do so, showing flexibility regarding possible shift time changes when required to suit the allocated process (eg additional factory cover or warehouse picking).
* It is expected that a reasonable amount of overtime be worked in line with business demands
Key Experiences and Skills Required:
* Combi Licence is highly desirable
* A good knowledge of the products is essential
* Knowledge of embossing, venting & saw use would be advantageous
* Able to work autonomously and as part of a team is a required key skill
* A Basic level of computer literacy is essential
* Understanding of the Swish NAV system would be desirable
