We are brave, we are ambitious, we are honest, and we are Citizen!

One of the UK’s most trusted social housing providers, Citizen owns and manages 30,000 homes across the West Midlands for diverse communities, from urban tower blocks to rural villages and towns. We provide more than just a home; we provide homes that are a foundation for life.

Citizen Young People provides short-term supported accommodation for care leavers and vulnerable young people between the ages of 16-25 years, who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. The service aims to develop the life skills of young people, encouraging access to education and training, and developing their capacity to live independently.

We are currently seeking an Accomodation Support Manager to effectively manage our Citizen Young People Service. You will be responsible for the overall management of the accommodation (located in three foyers in Hereford, Leominster and Ross as well as move on accommodation), and the services delivered.

You will lead a team to ensure young people receive high quality and effective service, inspiring them to engage with education, training and employment opportunities and develop the life skills needed to live independently.

Responsibilities will also include staff management, meeting Key Performance Indicators, delivering against commissioned outcomes, managing budgets and ensuring projects remain financially viable.

The successful candidate will have experience of delivering front line operational services in a supported housing setting and directly working with young people. Experience of motivating and managing staff, and budget management is also required.

This post requires an essential enhanced DBS check.
