About the role:
In this hands-on role, you’ll lead the preparation of the annual budget, annual business unit review and in the preparation of monthly management accounts and reports. You will also carry out periodic and ad-hoc reporting for funders and investors. You will manage service charge calculation and administration. You will be a business partner to the organisation, providing financial advice to support heads of services and senior managers; you’ll contribute to key operational decisions, ensuring a focus on risk management and Value for Money
About you:
As a Qualified Accountant with full membership of either ACA, ACCA or CIMA, you’ll have significant experience within a similar role, and of preparing budgets, management account reporting and variance analysis. Excellent excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.) and Word skills are a must and you’ll be comfortable managing large datasets, what-if modelling and writing reports. With the ability to provide robust challenge, you will be able to critically review your own work and that of colleagues and direct reports.
