Our client is a key operational unit of one of the world’s leading integrated refining and energy organisations. Employing a total staff of 410 the refinery processes 130,000 barrels of oil per day, supplying products to the UK and Northern Europe.

 

They currently have an exciting opportunity for a HR Business Partner.

 

Responsibilities:

Providing development support for employees within the position’s scope, in partnership with management 

  • With regards to behavioural, managerial and leadership skills. You’ll define each employees developmental goals, proposing appropriate actions while drawing on available resources, training and coaching etc.
  • Conducting career assessments
  • Assisting employees at each major stage of a job change

 

Managing the mobility process

  • Monitoring compliance with Group policies 
  • Ensuring integrity, transparency and fairness of internal mobility processes
  • Coordinating mobility activities

 

 

Supporting Managers in their role 

  • Managing people reviews
  • Assess the potential of employees 
  • Advising and supporting managers with regards to organisational issues, interpersonal relationships and psychosocial risks
  • Verifying that employee skill sets correspond to organisational needs

 

Requirements

  • HR Management and Development Degree or equivalent and/or relevant CIPD qualifications
  • Previous experience in a HR Generalist or Training and Development role within a large organisation
  • English essential, French is advantageous
  • Organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to work independently, team spirit, listening skills
  • The ability to generate new ideas
