Extraordinary is our clients’ ordinary.
They are a creative construction and manufacturing company and are responsible for delivering some of the most iconic projects in recent times. Olympic Ceremonies, Global Events, Product Launches, Architectural Pavilions, Theatre and TV sets are all things that we are regularly called upon to help create.
The HR team is based in their main office in Tockwith and offers support to 150 staff across the different areas of the business. They are now looking to expand the team by appointing a full time HR Administrator to provide fast-paced HR Administrative support.
This exciting role would be perfect for an individual looking for an opportunity to begin their career or develop their existing administrative skills within a busy HR environment. Due to the nature of the role, an understanding of the confidential nature of HR work and a familiarisation of HR policies and procedures would be an advantage but is not essential and training will be provided on these aspects.
Essentially, they need an accurate and detail orientated administrator, who is highly organised and can comfortably communicate with individuals at all levels within the business. Providing day to day administration support to the HR team, you will input holidays, absence and sickness in a timely manner, complete recruitment administration and maintain and update personnel files. The team also provide cover for the Receptionist when they are on leave.
This is a demanding role where you will manage multiple deadlines and prioritise your own workload while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
With strong administration skills gained within a busy office and a good level of IT literacy, the successful candidate should demonstrate strong communication skills and excellent time management abilities. Although not essential, any HR related experience would be beneficial. If successful, there is potential for us to support you through CIPD in the future should you thrive within this role.
Working hours: 8.00am – 5.00pm, Monday – Friday with occasional overtime
