The Icebreak Team offers support to young adults aged between 16 and 22 years who are experiencing severe emotional distress with emerging signs of personality disorder.

Ideally you will have knowledge of the needs and difficulties of young people with mental health problems and experience of working with people who are affected by poor mental health.

Whilst working closely with a team of care co-ordinator's, you will have the ability to promote individual responsibility, self-management & the development of positive coping strategies to reduce impact of the emotional and psychological experiences.

The successful candidate will support and promote the recovery and wellbeing of service users.

You will be educated to degree level or equivalent with high-level communication skills.
