Reporting to - Contracts Supervisor/Manager
Essential Experience & or Qualifications
* Experience of Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Wet Trades
* Previous facilities service & maintenance experience
* Provision of service to commercial/Industrial clients
* Health & Safety awareness

Our client is currently seeking a fabric maintenance operative to join their team. Working for one of the UK's leading Facilities Management and Engineering Service providers, offering an excellent salary & benefits, we are seeking a qualified maintenance engineer with experience of planned and reactive maintenance experience within a retail / commercial environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills at all levels, happy to work unsupervised and competent in the completion of statutory paperwork.
* To carry out general property maintenance with experience in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Wet Trades, Tiling, as well as remedial works as required. This position is working in a mobile capacity on a major retail / commercial contract.
* All work will be distributed via the Contracts Supervisor / Helpdesk and you will keep in close contact with the service maintenance team on a regular basis, provide detailed feedback and collect new works, most of which will be communicated via tablet and mobile technology.
* To support other Operatives in the team as and when required and liase with other members of direct and indirect staff to carry out duties effectively and with minimal disruption.
* Uphold the integrity of the company at all times
* Complete work sheets and support service level agreements and procedures as required
* Carry out duties within company safety policy and advise line manager of all situations which could effect the safety of people or property
Annual salary up to cGBP30,000 (subject to skills, qualifications and experience) for a 40 hr/wk + O/T, 28 days holidays, specialist tools provided and all PPE. Call out allowance will be paid at GBP105 per week and overtime to be paid at time and a half / double time
