A multi-disciplinary consultancy are seeking a Senior Town Planner to join one of their offices in the Stoke on Trent area. Covering a wide range of sectors within Town Planning including major infrastructure, strategic housing, development, utilities, energy and industrial this consultancy offer support and consultation on all aspect of projects.
The role of Senior Town Planner involves working individually and as part of the wider team to deliver specialist consultation, advice and guidance on planning projects. You will be working closely with clients and liaising directly with them ensuring projects are delivered within deadlines and manage your own workload. As Senior Town Planner you will completing planning applications, appeals and site appraisals as well as determining planning strategies and development plan representations.
Your previous experience within Town Planning will ensure you offer in-depth and specialist service as Senior Town Planner as part of a supportive and competent team. As Senior Town Planner you will be setting an example for more junior team and in turn progressing your own professional development.
Senior Town Planner Position Overview
Involved in all aspects of projects including planning applications and appeals
Completing site appraisals
Managing projects from beginning through to completion
Offering consultation and guidance on planning and land use
Liaising directly with a variety of projects
Senior Town Planner Position Requirements
Degree qualified within relevant subject
RTPI Chartership status or working towards Chartership
Minimum 3 year's experience within the industry
Full clean divers licensee and own transport essential
Strong communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to manage your own workload
Senior Town Planner Position Remuneration
Salary dependant on experience
Professional subscriptions paid for
Flexi time available
Pension scheme with 5% contribution
24 days holiday per annum
