Job Title: Service & Sales Engineer

Location: Chester

Salary: GBP20,466 (Basic) - OTE GBP32,000 (Uncapped Commission)

The Client:

Our client is a leader in the industrial cleaning sector with two key aspects to its business - machines and waste. Our client covers everything from local garages and workshops to major automotive, rail and aviation.

The Role:

The role will involve a 60/40 split between service and sales. Daily you will be making scheduled service visits and performing reactive fault repairs on various machines on clients' premises, during these service visits you will get the opportunity to upsell new machines or extending service contracts.

Alongside this you will be expected to spend 1 day in the office per week where you will be expected to cold call potential customers to book appointments.

This role would be perfect for a maintenance engineer who has experience in onsite sales or a sales executive who is looking to use their product knowledge to get on the tools.

Job Responsibilities:

• To identify, develop and facilitate implementation of business opportunities and service developments with existing and potential customers.
• Responsible for all sales and on time service activities as assigned by the Branch Manager.
• To maintain our client's high standard and quality of service to all existing and potential customers.
• To maintain a high Company profile image, and personal appearance.

Role Requirements:

• Standard driving license- 7.5T Licence (Desirable)
• Physically Fit
• From A Similar Background E.G. Manual Handling or Construction Experience
• Repair/Service Knowledge (Desirable)
