Our client based in Tamworth are currently looking for a Trainee Punch Press Operator.
This is a fantastic opportunity towards a career in engineering.
Working with one of the world leading companies, you will be looking at working towards permanent employment.
Working hours
Monday - Thursday - 7.00am - 4.30pm
Friday's - 7.00am - 12.30pm
The ideal candidate will ideally be local, and looking for a full time job. Preferably someone that has had some experience in an engineering/production type environment.
You will be trained towards gaining experience and an accreditation in Press Operating.
The candidate must have:
* Good numeracy and literacy.
* Computer literate with experience of Excel and Word.
* A strong technical mind and the ability to carry out practical tasks using various tools.
* Hard working attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
In return, the company will offer:

* A salary commensurate with the role, which meets the national minimum wage requirements, and a pay increase after a probationary period.
* 20 days annual holiday, in addition to public holidays.
