Geotechnical Package Manager
Job Title: Package Manager, Heathrow Expansion Project, Phase 1
Reports to: Project Manager
Job Scope: As Package Manager, you will be resposible for the on-site operations of any specific packages and their documents. You will co-ordinate with the Project Manager, and the HSSE advisor to create a good operating culture, and to carry out work effectively, in accordance with any CPP or environmental contraints.
Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to the following:
* Managing HSSEQ and welfare on Packages of work and promoting a strong HSSEQ culture in line with the CPP and project Documentation;
* Review and Update Project Documentation;
* Review and update of Risk Assessments and Method Statements;
* Ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are communicated to all personnel on the package;
* Ensuring CDM regulation 2015 are adhered to;
* Familiarising themselves with the requirements of the Clients Specification;
* Assisting the Project Manager and Site Manager to ensure that those working under their control are competent and understand their role in achieving a safe working environment;
* Reporting all accidents and dangerous occurrences and near misses in accordance with policy and legal requirements;
* Reporting all quality related incidents, non-conformances and any technical related issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
Role Package Manager
Years of relevant industry experience Ideally >10 (Nothing less than 5)
Education BSc or MSc in earth science or geotechnical engineering
CSCS Yes
Minimal Management Training SMSTS
Manual Handling Yes
UKATA Asbestos Awareness Yes
UKATA Non-Licensed Work Yes
CAT and Genny Yes
First Aid Yes
