We are now looking for a Leasehold & Service Charge Co-ordinator on a 13 month maternity cover contract.

This is an incredible role for a proven housing services professional with great customer service skills to join one of the leading housing providers in the South-West.

The Role

As a Leasehold & Service Charge Co-ordinator, you will undertake a variety of duties with the aim of maximising the company’s income by effectively collecting customers’ outstanding invoices.

This role will see you ensure that all performance is kept within KPIs, in accordance with the Income Strategy, Policies and Procedures.

Additionally, you will:

- Collect all income in relation to Leaseholders, Freeholders and Shared Owners
- Carry out home visits
- Handle any customer and legal queries
- Complete legal paperwork and present cases in court
- Assist with service charge calculating and invoicing
- Support year end and mid-year service charge settings

About You

To be considered as a Leasehold & Service Charge Co-ordinator, you will need:

- At least 1 year’s experience of working in front line housing services
- Experience of working in a front-line customer facing role
- Good knowledge and an understanding of the legislation relating to leaseholders, housing law, service charges and section 20 requirements.
- Experience of working with accounting systems and databases
- Knowledge of leasehold and/or shared ownership management and dealing with queries in relation to them
- Experience of working face to face with vulnerable customers including those with challenging behaviour, and drug and alcohol issues.
- Experience of handling conflict and distressed customers with sensitive issues such as multiple debts and finding positive outcomes.
- Experience of lone working and carrying out home visits

A full driving licence and access to a vehicle would be beneficial, but not essential, to your application.

A basic DBS check will also be part of your application process.

This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week.
