Location: County Hall, Loughborough Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 7QP

You will be working in the Finance Division at County Hall, West Bridgford, Nottingham, and be based in the Children & Families finance team.

As part of the team, you will be providing high quality financial advice, information, analysis and interpretation to finance colleagues and budget holders to underpin effective decision making, meaningful performance management and to meet statutory requirements. The role is expected to build strong relationships with internal partners and be a key and active member of manager forums. This service is delivered to staff at County Hall and remote bases around the County.

You will be a minimum of AAT qualified with substantial post-qualification experience or preferably CCAB qualified, with experience of working in a financial environment with a range of financial systems and processes. You must be able to manage your own and others performance to meet objectives and provide an excellent customer focused service. The ability to work on your own initiative, pay attention to detail and understand and interpret information is essential, as are good communication, interpersonal and excel skills.
