Part Time Production Assistant
We are looking for a part-time Production Assistant for a Cambridge based company. You will have a background in electronics and be familiar with handling procedures for PCBs, assemblies and components.
Responsibilities
* Inspection of electronic assemblies received
* Testing and diagnosing faults in boards
* Shipping electronics to customers
* Handling components and kitting for builds
* Loom building
* Building prototypes
* Meeting suppliers
Requirements
* Excellent Surface Mount/ Through-Hole soldering capability (to 0.5mm pitch QFN/TQFP, 0603, rarely 0402)
* Experience as a Technician in an electronic manufacturing environment (awareness of antistatic / ESD precautions, handling etc)
* Reliable
* Methodical
* Ability to come up with creative solutions to logistical problems
Any electronic test/ fault find/ repair experience would be an advantage.
Hours are flexible, on a week by week basis, but 3-4 days per week would be ideal. Other hours considered.
