Salary: £20,674.34 to £21,855.37 per annum (£22,477 to £23,761 FTE)

Hours: 4.00pm to 10.00pm, Monday to Friday (includes 30 min unpaid break), plus a weekend shift of either 8.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays or 10.00am to 4.00pm on Sundays

The College is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and hardworking Sports Centre Manager to lead and manage the College’s out of hours Sports Centre activities. The successful applicant will be required to work with a team of staff to develop lettings, leisure opportunities and gym memberships.

The post is available immediately on a permanent, part-time basis. There may be scope for these hours to increase according to demand.

Previous experience of working within the leisure or sports industry is essential. The post holder will spend a significant amount of time working with the public, so excellent customer service skills are required, along with the business acumen to develop the Sports Centre offer.

The post requires commitment and flexibility in the approach to work and excellent time management skills.

Two Sports Centre Supervisors currently oversee the College’s lettings and local membership for the gym facilities. However, the opportunity for significant development of the provision is now available and this new role of Sports Centre Manager will oversee two new Sports Centre Supervisors, with the clear aim of providing an outstanding provision for its members and a more comprehensive use of facilities.

Therefore, the post holder will be able to work closely with the College management to shape and develop initiatives and experiences.

Please see the school website for further details and an application form. Closing date: 9.00 am on Monday 18 November 2019.

Reigate College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
