An excellent opportunity has now arisen for a Designate Store Manager to join us, covering our Tayside and Fife Stores.

Within this role, you will work alongside the Store Manager and will understand how to effectively manage a Carpetright store in order to achieve sales and profitability by providing quality customer service.  Once the Designate Store Manager has successfully completed the training period and assuming all has gone well, we’ll aim to have you running a store of your own as soon as we can.

Ensuring you achieve all targets as a minimum, you will motivate staff to achieve the highest standards of sales performance, customer service, and administration. Most importantly, you will ensure you and your team deliver an exceptional customer experience, keeping the customer at the heart of everything that you do!

In order to be successful in this role, it is essential that you have previous experience within a similar customer-facing retail management or supervisory role.  With a good understanding of the KPI sales and customer service process, you will have the ability to lead, inspire and coach a team along with a passion for delivering great customer service.

As this role involves travelling between the two stores, it is essential that you possess a full UK driving licence and have access to your own car.
