A world leader in the design and manufacture of electronic systems for the chemical industry is seeking a Technical Support Engineer, to join then their Headquarters & Global Technology Centre in Burgess Hill site. The company are a major global leading engineering company who are part of a business worth over GBP10 billion. They develop complex, high value, high speed machinery which is used in the manufacture of semiconductors.
The Technical Support Engineer job, Burgess Hill will be providing the product company with technical support for their products. Ensuring products and processes meet specifications, business needs, quality requirements and customers. You will be supporting customer facing engineers and account teams with diagnosis and resolution of problems in customer and internal situations. You will also undertake project work to support customer investigations, internal quality projects, safety issues and supplier relocation/cost reduction programs.
The Technical Support Engineer, Burgess Hill will have a degree in engineering or relevant qualification/time served experience. You must have at least 5 years relevant experience as a technical support engineer in a electro mechanical engineering role. Ideally you would have previous experience within the semiconductor industry.
