Kitchen Assistant - Rusthall Lodge
GBP8.49 - GBP9.25ph + excellent benefits
About the role
In this role, you will be the key link between the main kitchen and the serving of food to our residents, visitors and staff with a full catering service. Kitchen Assistants must practice and uphold high levels of personal and working hygiene standards at all times, and exercise patience and understanding in the daily dealing with the residents.
You will keep a close eye on stock rotation, complying to company policies and procedures and following all mandatory COSHH and HACPP guidelines. From time to time, you will assist with catering for special events and seasonal parties.
Who we're looking for
You will have experience of working in a food-service environment and preferably hold a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. Confident, friendly and enthusiastic, you will really enjoy getting to know our residents and working as part of a close team.
