WO 9243 - Warehouse Manager - Andover

My client are a market leader in the sale and rental of HVAC equipment, specialising within the the supply, installation and on-going Service, Maintenance and Breakdown cover on Chillers, Commercial Gas Boilers and Air Conditioning Units.

We are now looking to recruit a Warehouse Manager for their Andover branch

The warehouse Manager is responsible for the warehouse operation within the depot taking full responsibility for delivering operational excellence in the warehouse. You will manage, motivate and provide clear direction warehouse colleagues within the stock, pick, service and dispatch teams. You will be commercially astute, serious about safety, clear focus on KPI delivery whilst maintaining strict cost control.

Job Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality procedures, responsible for compliance of the Work Place Safety Compliance Register and weekly Depot Audits.
To be responsible and manage the fleet vehicles in line with the companies policy
To manage, mentor and coach direct reports in the operation of a successful and effective warehouse providing clear direction throughout
To be accountable for ensuring company operating metrics are met including warehouse productivity, vehicle loading and unloading and stock counts
Lead, coach and motivate a team of Stock supervisors and Drivers to ensure the best level of internal and external customer service is provided
Review / manage performance and development needs of the Stock supervisors and Drivers
Responsible for achieving daily activity of "test and run" on hire stock in line with KPI's and meets the companies safety standards
Be a key driver in maximizing utilization of stock ensuring fleet is "good to go"
Ensure stock counts, adjustments and stock reconciliation are carried out in line with company stock processes and time scales including bi-annual stock takes
To promote stock integrity as a fundamental part of all warehousing activities.
Ensure compliance with all operating systems, procedures and processes, identifying procedural non-conformance within the warehouse operations and resolve as necessary
Maintain healthy interdepartmental relationships, with all other teams
To be recognized as an expert in warehouse and service operations with past experience of success in a similar warehouse environment.

Experience/Knowledge/Skills Required:
Warehouse management experience gained within a dynamic, fast paced and resource intensive environment
Ability to work in a busy, reactive environment and adhere to strict dead lines
Ability to manage and solve problems effectively.
Rota planning and people planning
Experience leading a team and developing talent
Ability to communicate at all levels.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

Package Details:
GBP35k - 40 hour week
