Area Sales Manager

Central England - North London up to Nottingham
Salary - GBP35k per annum + commission structure (OTE 4.5k) + company car/car allowance and company pension scheme.
25 days holiday a year

Overview of the role and candidate profile
Based within the region and working from the Chessington Southern office and factory in Loughborough, you will be working within a small sales team covering a large area. You will take received enquiries, create quotes, follow up and secure orders for enquiries ranging from GBP5K to GBP250K from end user clients, interior fit-out clients and building contractors small, medium and large. You will also use online building leads to find and develop new projects or clients. We are looking for someone how is highly motivated, as this is a competitive market you will be working in.

Skills and experience
  • Experience of dealing direct with contractors, end users, architects.
  • Proven background in creating technical specifications with Architects and negotiating orders with QS's and Buyers.
  • Ability to gather information from online portal based tender enquiries.
  • Ability to take measurements from DWG and/or PDF files.
  • Experience of using document merging PDF tools to send quotations to client.
  • Ability to prepare presentations to Architects using PowerPoint.
  • Take site measurements and have knowledge of various building support structures.
  • Experience of paperless CRM systems would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.
