Lead Engineer Infotainment Expert

Scope of Role

As Lead Engineer for Infotainment Expert, you will be close working with Chief Engineer for Infotainment, PMO and other function groups to analyse, create and maintain infotainment function/system and topology requirements, taking ownership for interface and protocol between different HW/SW component within Lotus infotainment products.

You also need to create and maintain market preferred/specific feature and requirement from customer, legal and environment perspective.

Our Engineering Research and Development department (ER&D) is a fast growing function within Tata Technologies Limited that is assembled to work on exciting projects globally for multiple customers.

Area of Responsibility

• Development of hardware, software and mechanical functionality, whilst being legally and commercially compliant to fulfil customer, company and stakeholder expectations.

• Undertaking both the supervision and delivery of detailed tuning, verification and testing plans for developed hardware and software systems and functionality.

• Work with strategic partners and suppliers to develop technically compliant function/system solutions which fulfil project plans, effectively communicating timings and critical paths.

• Through commercial and technical judgement use initiative to determine solutions and facilitate infotainment function/system and topology objectives.

• Undertaking both the supervision and delivery of detailed tuning, verification and testing plans to develop hardware and software systems and functionality.

• Working collaboratively with respective departments, engineers and suppliers to problem solve and achieve solutions to encountered problems, taking accountability for the resolution.

• Work with other engineering functions and departments to best communicate and ultimately achieve desired outcomes.

• Support and act as mentor to colleagues to achieve individual, departmental and corporate goals.
