Human Resources Advisor

Elevation HR are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Officer for our client based in West Yorkshire. Working for a manufacturing organisation this role is heavily focused on providing an effective and seamless ER Advisory service to the business with a wider generalist remit.

Reporting into the Head of HR; the successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment and must be confident and comfortable in managing a high ER caseload.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- First point of contact for all HR queries, escalating to Senior HR colleagues where necessary
- Advising and supporting the development and implementation of HR Policies, Procedures and Initiatives
- Working closely with Stakeholders; providing an exemplary advisory service on a range of issues including absence management, performance management and disciplinary and grievance processes
- Co-ordination and support of the full recruitment process
- Supporting and guiding other HR team members
- Assisting on the coordination of Learning and Development initiatives
- HR and Payroll administration
- Occasional travel to additional site

Elevation HR are keen to speak with candidates with the following Skills and Experience:

- Previous experience within a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent employment law and best practice knowledge
- Extensive experience in supporting Stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
