Pre-Constructions Operations Manager (PCOPM085)
Location: Tidworth
Purpose: Reporting to the Major Works Director, accountable for all aspects of Major Works Projects and Lifecycle pre-construction business. Providing leadership and direction to the project teams, ADSL and the wider PAC community stakeholders, you will take projects from conceptual stages, through development, design and through procurement. The role demands stand-alone capability, enabling major construction and maintenance projects in accordance with ADSL's management processes and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide focus, leadership direction and strategy to the pre-construction phase of Major Works new build and refurbishment/ alteration projects. Review challenge and improve build programmes and solutions, demonstrating a valuable service provision to our customer.
* Set the project vision for the team. Lead collaborative derivation of the project strategy and scope.
* Manage project compliance with strategy requirements.
* Manage the design data generation and approve process for Major Works Projects.
Experience & Skills Required:
* Quantity Surveyor background, RICS qualification
* An industry recognised qualification in construction, e.g. degree in Construction or Civil Engineering.
* SC Security clearance or ability to achieve SC Clearance
* Proven track record in delivery of projects to commercial and budgetary targets.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
