About the role The British Heart Foundation's (BHF) Legacy Marketing team is halfway through a growth strategy with ambitious targets and we're looking for a strong Senior Direct Marketing Executive to join our team and be a fundamental part of our success. This is a very exciting time for legacies and legacy marketing at the BHF. Our aim is to significantly increase the prominence of legacies both internally and externally in order to grow and protect this very important income stream which will account for 50% of our total income. About you As Senior Direct Marketing Executive, you'll help lead, manage and execute the BHF's legacy marketing programme which aims to promote legacy giving to our external audiences. You'll be responsible for project managing direct marketing campaigns to prospective and existing supporters and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to help develop and implement our legacy marketing assets. This role is vital in driving forward the delivery of our prospecting campaigns throughout the year, working across a variety of broadcast media channels as well as the onward supporter journey. We're looking for a driven individual with proven experience of working in a fast-moving direct marketing team. You'll have demonstrable experience of project managing multiple direct marketing campaigns across a variety of media. To be successful in this role you'll have the following skills and experience: * Previous experience working across broadcast media channels, including digital* Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop solid working relationships* Good strategic thinker with an ability to set long and short term objectives * Ability to work under pressure and manage a varied workload * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Strong IT skills including a high degree of competence using Microsoft Office About us We research all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them.
