PA/Administrator to the Director of Postgraduate Programmes
Part-time – 20 hours per week
Grade 4 Starting salary £20,130 pa, pro rata

This post represents an exciting opportunity to join a team of staff in Keele University’s dynamic and highly rated School of Medicine (currently ranked 3rd for Medicine in the NSS 2019, 8th in the Complete University Guide for Medicine 2020 and 3rd in the Guardian League for Medicine 2020).
You will provide a comprehensive and professional administrative and secretarial support service to the Director of Postgraduate Programmes, to assist the Academic Staff Development Administrator, undertaking discrete tasks, as defined and agreed by the postgraduate manager, and work as part of a team of administrators. Duties will include diary management, organising meetings, greeting visitors, filing, dealing with correspondence and drafting simple responses, arranging hospitality, organising travel and hotel bookings, booking conference places, processing invoices, word processing, photocopying and preparing presentations.
You will have a minimum of 4 GCSEs including English and Maths at Grade C or above, or equivalent, or equivalent relevant experience. Essential skills include good organisational, interpersonal and team working skills, and the ability to work accurately and independently.
