Scheme Cleaner & Caretaker - Fixed Term


£20,082 - £23,585 per annum per annum (pro rata)

Full Time (35 hours per week)

As their esteemed and established Scheme Cleaner & Caretaker you will be responsible for:

  • General domestic and decorative repairs and maintenance
  • Health and Safety compliance and inspection of communal areas
  • Tenant liaison such as signposting and utilities advice
  • Cleanliness of communal areas
  • Fire safety practice including fire detection and smoke ventilation

If you pride yourself on a high standard of cleaning and are able to manage a variety of challenging tasks and thrive in a demanding but rewarding environment, then they want an application from you.


As the role will involve domestic maintenance and repairs e.g. emptying bins, changing light bulbs, health & safety checks etc., you must have previous experience of this. You must have a good understanding of health and safety requirements, robust communication and problem solving skills and exceptional customer focus.


A full driving licence is essential for this role, as you will be given a van for work. As there will be an element of moving and handling within this role, you must be willing and able to undertake moving and handling.


You will work 7 hours per day, Monday to Friday. You can work either 8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 5:00pm, they are happy for you to work the pattern that suits you best. 


This role is on a fixed term basis with a proposed end date of January 2021

All successful candidates will be required to take a work related test prior to the interview. Interviews will be held in Mountsorrel, Leicester.
