Electrical Asset Manager
South East
Up to £45,000 + company car
2-year contract
Our client has an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Asset Manager. Reporting to the Electrical Programme and Asset Manager, you will assist in managing contractors to carry out Electrical Asset Management project on approximately 9,000 server cabinets across a number of facilities over a wide geographical area.
Role Responsibilities:
- Liaise with the contractor and ensure the programme stays on track.
- Liaise with site teams to ensure access
- Review certificates produced from the testing to ensure they are fit for purpose.
- Visit and carry out quality assurance checks on the testers.
- Liaise with the GOSCC to arrange or agree shut downs for the testing to take place.
- Production of regular reports to show progress against programme and performance standards.
- Ensure all cabinets tested are captured as Level 4 assets and added to their CAFM software system.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong electrical background
- HNC, or equivalent level qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline or equivalent experience
- Developed IT skills (e.g. Excel, Word etc.)
- Full driving license
This is a mobile position covering a specific compact geographical delivery area therefore a company car will be provided.
