SITE BASED PROJECT MANAGER

LOCATION: Initially based on-site in Winchester for a 6-month period. You must already be living within easy commuting distance or be willing to relocate at your own expense.

Full UK driving licence and own transport required.

SALARY:  TEMP-PERM:  £60K + (pa) + Company Benefits.  Full time, 40 hours per week.

SELF EMPLOYED DAY RATE:  £250.00 - £280.00 (doe)

Reporting to the Operations Manager, taking responsibility for the planning, execution and delivery of the full façade of a prestigious, major building project with an anticipated completion date of June 2020. 

Your day to day duties and responsibilities will include:

• Deliver the project on time and within budget.
• Manage and oversee all site-based labour, sub-contractors and activities.
• Check labour resource, plant and material availability.
• Supervise and motivate a small, friendly project team.
• Maintain relationships with client.
• Produce & review COSHH/ risk assessments/ method statements.
• Ensure all works are carried out safely and compliant with contract specifications and manufacturer recommendations.  
• Arrange inspections of the work, sign off QA checklists, ensuring Environment and Health & Safety policies are adhered to.
• Complete and return weekly record information & progress reports.

Experience of working with a Top Tier Main Contractor such as Wilmott Dixon would be highly advantageous, working as a Project Manager, Senior Site Manager, Facades Manager or similar.

IT Literate, you will have strong knowledge Microsoft Office skills and preferably QMS systems.  You will have a valid CSCS Site Manager Card, SMSTS/ SSSTS and possibly PASMA/ IPAF/ Scaffold qualification.

You will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, the ability to work well under pressure, strong leadership / management skills, excellent technical knowledge and a real commitment to seeing projects completed to the highest standard, on time and within budget.
