Job Title - Giftware and Packaging Designer
Location - Tamworth
Salary - GBP19-25K / annum
Hours - 8.30am - 5.30pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am-1.00pm Friday
We are recruiting a Giftware and Packaging Designer for our client based in the Tamworth area.
Working in a small, professional team, you will design and develop product, graphics and packaging for a wide range of giftware and homeware products.
You must have previous design experience, and be proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator, as well as the management of Excel spreadsheets.
You will ideally need to be experienced with generating cutters on Illustrator, creating full mock ups for customers, managing web based platforms with art houses, and organising the day to day critical path of artwork from the art house to the factory.
You will also approve pre-pro samples for artwork, copy, technical and fit for purpose, create packaging specs for factories and then approve photos from factories.
You will organise day to day artwork from major retailers and be able to lay artwork, liaising with the Far East on delivery schedules and wetproofing.
