Mechanical Maintenance Technician - GBP28k - Darlington

Working within an established multi-discipline maintenance team, you will be responsible for the provision of maintenance, repair, testing, modification and installation of all mechanical equipment on a Chemical/ COMAH Plant.

This team is the first line of defence for keeping the Manufacturing facility running, so you will be working on a variety of Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance activities.

We are looking for someone who has experience working within the Chemicals / High Hazardous industries, holds formal Engineering / Maintenance qualifications (minimum of time served apprenticeship / NVQ L4 / equivalent) and who has experience of a variety of kit / kit / equipment: pumps, compressors, gear boxes, fans, valves, agitators, pipe work etc.

This is a single site position, days based, Monday through Friday, and with an early leave on a Friday! The role / company has an excellent benefits package too.
