Club steward/stewardess

We are now seeking applications to take over the role of steward/stewardess at lichfield social club.

Reporting to the club secretary and committee, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Overall daily management of the club
• Stock management
• Bar & cellar work, including regular cleaning of pipes
• Cash handling
• Staff management and staff rota’s
• Arranging and facilitating private bookings and group hires of the Club
• Other reasonable duties which may be required from time to time

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following qualities and abilities:

• Excellent customer care and good interpersonal and communication skills
• Trustworthy, reliable and punctual
• A proven track record in bar and cellar management
• Effectively manage, train and motivate a small team of staff
• Be pro-active in generating new business/additional income
• Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, hygiene and safety throughout all areas

The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, which will include weekends and evenings. Minimum of 30 hours per week plus overtime when agreed.

£500 bond to be paid to the club on commencement.

DBS basic check required.

3-month probation period.

Wage- to be discussed

Experience- bar management min 2 years (preferred)
