Maintenance Operative

We are now looking for a full time Maintenance Operative to undertake minor re-active repairs and carry out planned preventative maintenance works over 3 of our student accommodation sites in London. The role will involve, 1 day at Quebec House, 1 day at Davidson House in Kingston upon Thames and 3 days at New Orient House in Fulham. This will include painting and decorating, health and safety checks, grounds maintenance, gardening, refuse and recycling management.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who either has significant experience in a specialist trade, whether that be carpentry / joinery, plumbing, electrical or gas to name or few, or who has experience in residential repairs and fit outs. Highly organised and able to prioritise own workload, you will have a strong customer focus and be able to maintain the highest levels of professionalism with customers, even when under stress. You’ll also need to be IT literate including Microsoft Office and be competent in minor electrical maintenance works.

Experience of managing pool plant and associated equipment would be beneficial, however this is by no means essential.
