Marketing Assistant – Publications (Maternity Cover)

Salary: £18,829 per annum, plus excellent benefits
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (0.6FTE) - flexible working days to be agreed (currently three full days, but could be split over more if required).
Contract: Temporary to cover maternity leave

Are you a first-class communicator with strong organisation skills and great attention to detail?

We are looking for an organised, resourceful and talented person to join our team as a Marketing Assistant, with specific focus on creating great publications and helping us to collect and utilise strong case studies to support recruitment for our outstanding college.

In this role you will play a key role in collating, shaping and producing written material for our publications.

You will have an ability to work with academic and administration staff to collate information and be able to clearly and concisely provide this to designers (both internal and external) to produce accurate and inspiring publications.

Always with a sharp eye for detail, you will be responsible for actively searching out the inspirational success stories from our exceptional staff and students and deliver those stories in an easily digestible way in a range of printed formats.

Strong organisational skills are a must as you will be helping to plan and deliver the college’s publications including our flagship School Leavers’ Course Guide and various Adult Learning Guides.

Your ability to work on your own initiative plus being a keen team player will mean that you will quickly contribute to the success of this small and focussed marketing team which is responsible for promoting the college to our wide range of customers – young people, higher education learners, adult learners, parents, employers and stakeholders.
Experience of working in an education environment is an advantage, but not essential.
