Here at Watkin Jones, we are now looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to create a positive Health and Safety culture at all levels of the organisation.

You will assist and advise management at all levels with the preparation, implementation and where necessary, review of the Health and Safety policy and carry out periodic inspections and investigations of the company’s activities, reporting to the contract and line management any apparent breaches of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, company policy or company procedures. The Health and Safety Advisor will also liaise with any enforcing authorities and with Health and Safety organisations to promote the interests of the company and prepare and issue general Health and Safety information in the form of memos/alerts to relevant members of staff.

About You

We’re looking for an individual who is educated to NVQ Level 3, ‘A’ Level, HNC or equivalent or who has the equivalent level of experience. With strong time management skills, you will hold a NEBOSH construction certificate and have excellent knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
