Team Leader/Cross Dock

The company is currently seeking a qualified candidate to fill in the vacant positions of team leader cross dock, who shall generally oversee all the in-outbound shipments that are coming and and going out of the warehouse.

The ideal candidate is expected to be highly skilled and knowledgeable in the logistic world, must be a creative thinker and come up with ideas and strategies to improve the cross-dock operation. The candidate will also have to have the ability to handle employees and ensure a positive working environment.

The candidate will be working in a team along with four other team leaders who are responsible for the daily operations of the Corby warehouse, each one on their department. Good Co-ordination among each other is crucial.

Duties;

-Plan all the shipments

-Make sure that goods are not damaged during loading

-Calls, follow up instructions from planning

-Daily kick off with employees

-Trains and orients new employees

-Delegating tasks to personnel

-Ensure that employees are in a good condition for work

-Check overall condition of operation equipment

-Daily/Weekly check of health and safety forms

Skills and Qualifications;

-Relevant work experience in warehousing/cross dock

-Highly skilled in logistic environment

-Good communication skills both verbal and written

-Excellent team leader skills

-Excellent interpersonal skills

-Highly motivated and result driven

-Creative thinking

-PPT and Counter Balance Certificate

The hours of work will be between 06:00hrs-20:00hrs Monday-Friday
