Enterprise Coach (Plymouth/Exeter)

Based: Plymouth/Exeter, some home-based/flexible working.
Salary range: £28,000 to £31,000, depending on experience and future potential.

Outset is looking for an enthusiastic and confident Enterprise Coach based in Devon to raise awareness of the new support available both directly and working through local stakeholders, deliver a range of skills training workshops and 1:1 support to clients, and support the Accelerating Women’s Enterprise (AWE) partnership to achieve its goals.

AWE is an exciting, collaborative UK:France project being delivered in areas either side of the Channel. Through this approach, we aim to improve the quality and effectiveness of support for socially or economically disadvantaged women, and to help address the gender imbalance in entrepreneurship. AWE will help women increase their knowledge and personal skills to be able to start and grow a successful business, and you can read more about it here.

You’ll need to enjoy interacting and creating partnerships with a wide variety of people, and have a proactive, positive and client-focused attitude to supporting women who are thinking about starting a new business. You’ll therefore need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with great organisational abilities, and be a highly motivated, team player.
