Our client has one of the largest nuclear workforce in the UK with a proven track record in supply chain capability, engineering and the delivery of major nuclear facilities.
Our client is seeking highly experienced Commissioning Engineers to be part of a Nuclear project in Cumbria, this is an excellent opportunity to be part of one of the most significant commissioning projects in the North West.
Key skills / attributes:
Pref. HNC / HND (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering discipline (Mechanical or Electrical & Instrument), combined with relevant experience.
Duties:
To carry out testing and validation in line with commissioning supporting arrangements.
To carry out all testing activities safely.
To look at faults and implement solutions.
Involved in pre site inspections
Production of associated documentation (i.e. testing etc.)
To comply with site procedures.
Mechanical or Instrument & Electrical Engineering Background
Excellent organisation, planning and communication skills are key to this role.
The organisation of commissioning support resources.
Reporting to the Commissioning Team Leader on day to day activities.
Be highly proactive, adaptable with a 'can do' attitude.
Fully adverse with Health, Safety & Quality legislation and processes.
BPSS clearance is required for these roles (if no clearance held must be willing to go through clearance process)
