A leading food importing company are currently looking for a NPD Project Manager. You'll have a strong understanding of food ingredients and market trends, with experience working within a food manufacturing or food service environment.
Commutable from: Bath, Bristol, Chippenham, Shepton Mallet, Wiltshire
Salary: Negotiable plus pension, & 33 Days Holidays including bank holidays
The Role:
Working closely within the NPD department and other departments, maintaining regular communication.
Working with trading standard, to ensure pack copy & artwork are legal and approved.
Proof reading artwork, pack copy, product descriptions and nutritional data.
Ensuring supplier and product approval for all NPD products.
Sourcing ingredients and ordering samples for new projects. Estimating project costings.
Managing internal and external trials.
The Person
Degree qualified within a Food Technology related subject, with passion of food. A strong product development background with experience of managing products from concept to launch.
Excellent time managing skills.
Excellent understanding of food ingredients and specifications, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
