Location: Holehird - Windermere
Job Type: Full time, 35 hours per week - Days.
Salary: GBP11.38 per hour / GBP20,768 per annum

Holehird is part of the Leonard Cheshire Organisation, providing care for adults with life changing disabilities and illnesses. The Home, which is a specially adapted mansion house, is set in beautiful grounds, overlooking Lake Windermere.
As a Team Leader with Leonard Cheshire you will motivate and supervise your team, ensuring the delivery of care, personal support, daily living tasks and activities to our customers. You will provide support to attain full potential, maximising options available, encouraging choice, participation and motivation. You will be supporting the nurse on duty with clinical duties and ensuring the highest standard of care.
You will:
- Have a qualification - NVQ / SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care, L4 NVQ / SVQ in team leading or management - or the equivalent.
- Be experienced in working within a relevant care setting.
- Have experience in supervising a team.
- Be able to work flexibly within rostered hours and prepared to participate in an on-call rota as required.
- Have experience managing and administering medications.
