Thanks to research, today more people than ever survive heart and circulatory diseases. But these conditions still cause heartbreak for millions of families - killing 1 in 4 people. We will change that and need your help in order to keep doing what we do best.
We research heart diseases because they all have one thing in common - they stop your heart working properly. Heart failure to congenital defects, research is happening now!
We are looking for professional, ethical and motivated individuals with exceptional people skills to join our current and successful established team over 10 years of doing what we do best. This is not your conventional "sales" job; we pride ourselves on being the most ethical and professional fundraising specialist in the market and we would hate to be called "pushy."
About you
As a charity fundraiser you will operate in postal codes across Greater Manchester, Lancashire, Cheshire, Merseyside and Yorkshire (depending on your area) on behalf of out Charity partners fundraising on Lottery campaigns. Can you help end heartbreak by becoming part of our Valued Charity Fundraiser?
Our Charity fundraisers are Integral to our organisation, so the right "fit" is vital. Previous fundraising, direct sales, charity fundraising, canvassing or face to face sales is essential. Above this, it's who you are as a person and how you engage people in conversation. We need you to be charismatic, friendly, passionate, and an engaging communicator.
The position
Reporting to the Regional Manager, your main duties and responsibilities will be:
• Attracting prospective supporters by canvassing an area with 20 miles of your postcode for the GBP1 per week lottery
• Monday to Friday hours (12-7pm / 1pm-8pm)
• Signing up high quality supporters who have a personal connection to the cause and completing subscriptions using our secure PDA system.
• Representing our charity partners proudly and professionally- you are the face of that charity
