Our client is a well-established manufacturer. They are looking to expand their team by recruiting a Junior CAD/CAM Programmer to join the business.
Role:
On the job training will be provided as needed.
Responsible for the input of design parameters into bespoke automation software.
Provide detailed instructions to manufacturing team of how the product is to be assembled.
Assessing of orders to ensure that customers' requirements can be met without additional information being needed.
Provide information to purchasing department to ensure all parts are available by manufacturing date
Providing occasional technical assistance to customers when needed.Skills:
Mechanical Engineering qualification
Good time keeping
A keen eye for detail when assessing customer requirements
Experience in manufacturing industry preferable.
Experience using CAD/CAM software highly advantageous
Knowledge of 3D modelling required
