Work Based Assessor in Plastering Location: Deeside22 hours per week, PermanentSalary £25,624 - £28,898 pro rata based on a salary assessment and relevant experience We are now searching for an individual with expertise and practical experience within the plastering field to help support & assess our learners on our work based learning apprenticeship programmes.In order to be considered for this role, you must have experience and competence within the Plastering industry and hold a professionally relevant qualification at minimum of level 2 but preferably a level 3 NVQ. As a work based assessor you will be required to assess candidates in the workplace for the following assessment areas; health and safety, moving, handling and storage of material, dry lining, solid wall plastering, rendering and other prepared surface. You will be involved with the enrolment of students on appropriate courses and provide coaching, mentoring and learning opportunities.Assessing candidate portfolios and presenting completed portfolios for internal verification, you will monitor the candidate's progress towards their qualification and give them constructive feedback and support in order to help them to build a portfolio of evidence.Becoming a Work Based AssessorColeg Cambia is committed to the personal development of all its employees so if you are looking to move into a career as a qualified assessor we have the tools and the support system to help you achieve your formal assessor qualifications.You need to be self-motivated, have good organisational skills and time management, including the ability to carry out administrative tasks to support the role.
