TOPOGRAPHIC LAND SURVEYING / MEASURED BUILDING SURVEYING

LOCATION: Based from the offices in Ashby-de-la-Zouch, near Leicester, you must currently live within daily commuting distance.

*Due to out of town location and site visits, it is essential that you have a full UK driving licence*

SALARY:  Very competitive salary plus benefits, bonuses, overtime opportunities, pension, ample free parking, flexible approach to working hours, company vehicle/ mileage for site visits, ongoing training, career progression.

HOURS:  40 hrs pw. Flexi-time.

This will be an exciting and varied role for an enthusiastic Surveyor (Land/MBS), conducting land and/or Measured Building Surveys, producing 3D CAD & BIM models and drawings.  You will be hands on with the latest survey equipment; BIM applications & GIS; with plenty of opportunities to specialise in either as you progress.

As a Land Surveyor, you will be predominantly based out on-site with regular client interactions and one day a week in the office.  As a Measured Building Surveyor, you will be office based, working as part of a small, friendly, dynamic team of surveyors.  Able to work on your own initiative, communicate effectively with clients, and as part of the team, good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

You will be IT Literate, numerate with a suitable RICS accredited qualification.  You may already understand Land Survey Software & Modelling tools, possibly LSS software, 2D/3D AutoCAD, GPS, 3D Laser Scanners, Leica, Total Stations or similar. 

Your Surveying background could be in any of these disciplines:  Assistant Project Manager, Junior Building Surveyor, Junior Land Surveyor, Land / Geomatics Surveying Assistant, CAD Technician / Draughtsperson, Assistant Land Surveying Engineer, Land and Building Surveying Graduate Engineer, Assistant Surveyor within Land Surveying/ Measured Building Surveying/ Geomatics/ Civil Engineering/ Surveying and Mapping Sciences/ Mapping & Geospatial Data Science/ Mapping & GIS/ CAD Engineering.
