We now have a number of exciting opportunities across the Highcliffe area for passionate Support Workers to help make a difference to adults with autism.

Within this role, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals in their home, focusing on their specific requirements and encouraging independence, enabling them to lead a fulfilling life.

Although the role of a Support Worker is incredibly rewarding, you will however experience behaviours that are challenging. To support you with this, shadowing and a comprehensive training programme will be provided.   You will also have the opportunity to complete accredited qualifications once your probation period is complete.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have a good sense of humour, patience and persistence, as learning new skills can take time. You will also be a great communicator, empathetic, enthusiastic, creative and reliable.

Although not essential, previous experience of working with people with Autism or other similar conditions supported by a qualification in Social Care or equivalent would be desirable.

Due to the nature of the role, you will possess a full UK driving licence with access to your own car.

Hours of work - 2 week rolling rota that includes weekends, evenings, bank holidays and sleep ins.
