Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Area Sales Account Manager for a Leading Manufacturer and Supplier of Lighting, Fire, and Security products to the Wholesale ,Electrical contracts markets as well as specifiers. Your territory will be Anglia.

The successful Area Sales manager will be responsible for the continued growth of the regional territory and well as growing potential new relationships with the electrical wholesale contract specifiers market.

The Role of Area Sales Manager

  • Generating and presenting product portfolio to Profit Centre Managers within the Electrical wholesale market.

  • Achieve yearly sales and growth profit target

  • Building and Partnering sustainable business relationship with Profit Centre Managers

  • Identify and visit contractors/ specifiers to support the wholesale accounts with an integrated push and pull approach

  • Partnering and Specification selling to the Electrical Contract market.

  • Undertake site visits and provide Fire and Lighting schemes to suit

  • Maintain, manage and progress the project pipeline

  • Record call details and objectives on customer contact details within Outlook

  • Maintain fully wired sample and present solutions at every opportunity

  • Focus on promotions to create maximum awareness and ROI

  • Agree and achieve new business target

  • Manage of age debtor list

  • Identifying new Sales opportunities for growth within current electrical wholesale,contract and specifier customers.

  • Generating Sales appointments in the field with the support of an internal account manager.

  • Upselling and maximising product portfolio within existing territory as well as advising clients of promotions and new products.

  • Working to improve the company fiscal targets and exceed your financial targets.

  • Understanding and advising on technical requirement of products and how it affects the need to stock or use various products.

Keeping up with regular training including maintaining knowledge and qualifications in the LIA, FIA as well as technological development within products.



About You Area Sales Manager

The successful Area Sales Manager, will have demonstrable experience selling to The Electrical Wholesale, contract and specifier market or will have worked in the Wholesale market and is able to identify opportunities for growth and development in this vertical.

You will have established relationships which you will be able to present and sell the products too.

You will be driven and target orientated with a true desire to succeed and increase the brand and profile of this trusted
